Meet the magical auroras! We think everyone should experience the Aurora Borealis and one of the best places to do so is right here at the Guesthouse. Way up north, in the heart of the forest, on a cold winter’s night, in the serenity of the Arctic wilderness.
When the sun’s radiation reacts with our atmosphere, a fantastic range of lights appears in the sky. Although we now know the aurora borealis comes from the solar winds interaction with the Earth’s magnetic field. The Northern lights still remain mysterious and majestic. It is quite simply an enchanting experience to watch the light play across the night sky: you stop in your tracks and feel humbled by the forces of nature.
It’s impossible to predict when the Northern Lights will occur. But here at Lapland Guesthouse, in the Arctic landscape, we have the perfect conditions to experience this magical spectacle.
Whether or not the Northern Lights show themselves in all their glory, few experiences make us feel as close to nature as when we stay in the forest on a dark winter’s night, away from the noise and light of the city.
