What amenities are available in the rooms?

Answer: In each of our rooms, we provide shower towels, a sauna robe, as well as shower gel and shampoo. The bathrooms are also equipped with hairdryers.

What is included in the price?

Answer: A great atmosphere and of course breakfasts and Wi-Fi.

And what is not included in the price?

Answer: Airport transfer to the guesthouse, dinners, drinks, extra layers of clothing, activities, and the sauna.

What is the best time of the year to visit Lapland?

Answer: Lapland offers unique experiences throughout the year. Winter months are popular for winter activities, while summer months provide longer days for exploring nature and engaging in summer activities.

What is the ideal duration for a stay at the guesthouse?

Answer: The duration of your stay depends on the activities you plan to do. Generally, our visitors opt for a stay of 3 to 5 days.

What is the main city to arrive at? What is the name of the airport?

Answer: The nearest airport to the guesthouse is called Kiruna (KRN). However, we can also pick you up in Luleå (LLA).

What is the best time of the year to see the Northern Lights?

Answer: The Northern Lights are typically more visible during the winter months, from September to April. They appear when the sky is clear and there is enough solar activity.

What are the culinary specialties of Lapland?

Answer: Lapland’s cuisine often includes dishes made with fish, reindeer/moose, wild berries, and potatoes.

How to dress for arctic adventures?

Answer: Begin with a wool base layer, followed by a second layer also made of wool. Add a thick wool sweater. Opt for two pairs of socks – a thin and a thick pair.

Put on shell pants, and complement them with a down jacket for extra warmth. A shell jacket is essential to shield against harsh weather conditions.

Consider wearing shoes that are two sizes larger to accommodate extra layers of socks.

Accessorize with a neck warmer, and thin and thick gloves for hand protection. Finally, don’t forget the stylish karvalakki(Fur hat), a key element to complete your Arctic outfit.

What are the average temperatures in Swedish Lapland?

Answer: During winter, average temperatures can range from -15°C to -30°C, but they can sometimes drop even lower. In summer, temperatures generally range between 10°C and 25°C.

Answer: If you decide to cancel your stay, you will have to pay a certain percentage of the total cost. 

 > More than one month before: 20%
> 30 days before: 50%
> 15 days or less: 100%.
